A Human Resources professional by day and a creative dreamer by night, I am passionate about creativity, intentionality, design, leadership and really the intersection of work and life.  I sometimes (often) get distracted by shiny objects, love a really good cup of coffee, deep conversation with my friends, the mountains and the beach (this is ironic – you’ll understand why shortly).  I have spent 15 years as a Human Resources professional in the manufacturing industry and the healthcare industry and am also a freelance instructional designer, HR consultant and CliftonStrengths Coach. I have many creative hobbies including writing, design, photography, hand-lettering, crochet, and whatever new creative venture catches my eye.  

I currently live in the Piedmont of North Carolina with my husband, our corgi and our great dane. We can be in the mountains in an hour and the beach within 4 hours. For the first 44 years of my life, I resided in balmy North Dakota (if you can call -40 balmy). There was no beach in sight, but for 9 months of the year, there was the North Dakota version of white sand.  During the winter, I dreamed of moving to Arizona, or California or let’s be honest, anywhere that doesn’t measure winter temperatures with the phrase, “it wouldn’t be so bad without the wind”!
